Soulmates complete each other, not from a place of emptiness but as a continuation to wholesome.
What's a soulmate?
Everyone is looking for an answer to that question. Maybe we have the answer within us...
The one thing that got my attention recently is Zeus and the soulmates myth. According to the Greek methodology, Zeus was jealous and afraid of humans' power. To put an end to his anger, he splits the soul into two, a feminine and the masculine. The curse is that both halves live in order to find their other half.
One's might meet many fake soulmates, yet only one is their true other half. Maybe some people live their entire life without reunion with their soulmate.
It is a journey. I personally believe it is a journey to self, not to your soulmate. Your soulmate is nothing but a continuation of yourself. Soulmates complete each other, not from a place of emptiness but as a continuation to wholesome. It is like someone starts a sentence and someone else complete it to put the wholesome of a meaning as if the sentence was written by one person.
it's not about the challenges .. it's about the synergies.
It's not about the weaknesses .. it's about the meanings.
It's not about the end .. it's about the journey.
It is an invitation to heaven, as Lana Del Rey made it clear "Say yes to heaven .. say yes to me".
I'd like to think of soulmates as two sides of a moon. The one side that we look for in the night sky, and the other side that we forget it exists. We continue to look to the other one, yet we forget about ourselves. "Who am I" is before "who is my soulmate?".
We do have the answer within us. We should only ask the right question.
