Now that summer is over, we can freely speak about the unsensual summertime sadness. Most people consider summer as the fun, restful and joyful time of the year. Yet, deep inside we hold an inexplicable feeling of emptiness. Maybe you didn’t think about it until now, but you may come to the realization of its existence.
I’d like to think about summer as the season for the soul to meet the dark shadow in it.
Summer and dark shadow ?
Yes, summer may look like a bright and a glowy season. But, there is always a shadow behind the light.
Summer takes us to a place of emptiness, where judging and questioning ourselves are the main theme.
Emptiness is a fullness of nothing, where things come to existence out of absence. We tend to get back to ourselves in times of emptiness, when we have nothing to make the cup full, we pour ourselves.
Summertime sadness is an unsensual feeling of sadness, where sadness is not felt but lived. It is the intangible response of our mind to the stimulation of our external world.
It is when the soul is empty, hearing no response and knowing no sense.
It is when the conscious leaves, and the delusion stays.
It is when the heart is confused, and the ache is a word.
